By continuing to read this blog, you have agreed to suspend your inner desire to sue people for a couple minutes. How’s that for a disclaimer?

There is a rumor going around that Apple is looking for a takeover target in a new industry. One option is allegedly defense. It kinda makes sense since the industry is crying out for innovation. I mean, have you seen the newest missile releases? The old missiles are just so bulky, lacking in design, and on top of all that, they don’t fit well in your man-purse.

Employees of Microsoft, LG, Nokia (yeah, they still make phones) and other Apple competitors are understandably a bit nervous. Although you may not know where Cupertino, CA is, it knows where you are. Oh, you thought you were simply opening a map to help you find the local Chinese place? I’m pretty sure Mr. Jobs doesn’t give a damn where I am, but those of you who are important…

About Apple extracted from BBC news:

It said: “The iPhone is not logging your location. Rather, it’s maintaining a database of Wi-Fi hotspots and cell towers around your current location, some of which may be located more than one hundred miles away from your iPhone, to help your iPhone rapidly and accurately calculate its location when requested.”

The document also addresses the fact – as some users discovered – that data going back months and even years was being stored.

“It shouldn’t. This is a bug, which we plan to fix shortly,” said Apple.

I wonder if Big Brother Apple is watching us… A bit scary if you think about it!

This is the whole piece of news to whoever wants to read more…

Pablo, thanks for the link, although I generally don’t like people confusing me with actual facts.
